A happy healthy mindful New Year

Hello happy healthy people this is my first blog of the new year. May I take this opportunity to wish you a year that lives up to all your expectations, so that places the ball firmly back in your court in other words we all create our own reality, good or bad!
As 2012 was interesting 2013 I suspect will no different. I was last year busy studying and oh yes studying. If you want too understand and in turn enhance your life then to experience the pleasure of new information or ideas is for me one of lifes must! This is a time to set goals be creative with them but let them measurable. Celebrate your successes  then make a new list and start again.
This video blog is mostly about nutrition, again some may say I'm a geek regarding reading and researching nutrition but it is one of my favourite subjects. Below I have added some related topics, covering the mind, body, and spirit, part of my business.
So once again keep life fun, full of mindful movement with a pinch of creative strength. x

100mls milk cows or almond (I used raw milk)
2 tbl organic cream

To make
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend
Serve with a sprinkling of cocoa nibs

Share with a friend as it serves two

This was so yummy that I had to share it with you. I made it up..... so no link to a recipe page. Here are some great nutritional facts on the ingredients for this pudding enjoy

Banana is great for Blood Pressure:  high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect food for helping to beat blood  pressure. Its official it reduces the risk of blood pressure and stroke
Cashew nuts have significant sources of iron (essential for red blood cell function and enzyme activity), magnesium (promotes energy release and bone growth), phosphorus (builds bones and teeth), zinc (essential to digestion and metabolism) and selenium (has important antioxidant properties, thus protecting the body from cancer).
Dates are great are a rich source of vitamins One reason why fresh or dried dates should be a part of your daily diet is because of the variety of vitamins that are present in this fruit. Dried dates contain Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Thiamin, Niacin and Riboflavin.
Cocao Nibs brilliant food just 1oz of cocoa nibs contains 130 calories, 13 grams of fat, 10 grams of carbohydrates and 3 grams of protein. They are a one of the best dietary sources of magnesium as well as a good source of calcium, iron, copper, zinc and potassium.
Cocoa nibs contain 272 milligrams of magnesium per 100 grams. Magnesium is an important mineral that many people are known to be deficient in. Magnesium plays a major role in nerve and muscle function, bone strength and circulation. It cannot be produced by the body, and therefore, must be obtained through food sources or supplements. Studies show that cocoa nibs have higher antioxidant levels than blueberries, red wine and green tea. The antioxidants in cocoa nibs are also more stable than in other foods and are easy for the body to assimilate.

Is Gluten Causing Your Headaches?

This is an interesting clip and one that I hear about from my clients. It somehow surprises me how many people suffer from headaches and when they remove gluten hey presto no headache!
